Where each fact comes from
For the pools and waterfalls we cross-check the Descubra Nova Friburgo portal, Wikipedia, named travel blogs and the venues' own pages. Climate uses Climatempo averages. Bus times come from 1001 and FAOL. The Macaé de Cima protected area is described from the state decree and Inea.
Lodging pages use what Booking.com showed publicly on October 19, 2026: score, review count, address, coordinates and amenities. Nobody from this site stayed at these places to write about them, and the reviews say so up front.
Real photos come from Wikimedia Commons, with author and licence in the caption. Some images were generated with AI, carry that label and never depict a real place or hotel.
