Poço Feio, Lumiar: fee, hours and what to expect
The name is misleading. Poço Feio ("ugly pool") is a wide natural pool with calm water and a sandy strip for your towel. It sits at the entrance to Lumiar, close enough to the square to walk.

What it is like
It is private land and the fee pays for upkeep. There is a restaurant with meals and snacks. Locals joke that whoever named it wanted the place to themselves. With such still water, it is one of the best pools for children.
