São Pedro da Serra: Lumiar's neighbouring district
Six kilometres from Lumiar, about 15 minutes by car, São Pedro da Serra rounds off the trip. The waterfalls are closer to Lumiar; the nightlife, with bars, restaurants and shops, is livelier in São Pedro.

It is the 7th district of Nova Friburgo and shares the Macaé de Cima protected area with Lumiar. Watch your searches: there is also a municipality called São Pedro da Serra in Rio Grande do Sul, unrelated to this one.
